I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Hi, my name is Chase and I am a 12 ½ yr old black lab. My foster Mom tells me that I am very well mannered! I am housetrained and I don’t need a crate. I get along very well with all my fur-foster brothers/sisters (dogs/cats). I enjoy an occasional cookie and take it like a gentleman. I will not get on furniture or the bed unless I am invited. My most favorite thing to do is go for car rides!! I am current on all my shots, HW negative and altered. My dog-tor did say that I am in the very early stages of heart failure. But this is a slow progressing problem. I am a senior gentleman and sometimes when we get older, the ‘ol bones tend to hurt…so my dog-tor gave me some Novax to help with my pain. Overall my dog-tor says otherwise for my age, I look good. I will need Lasix and Novax as maintenance medication, the nice thing is these are not costly medications. Rescue Group Info...
Friends of Rescue is a certified 501(c)(3) organization consisting of volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter dogs that are in danger of euthanasia. Rural Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee shelters have a constant overflow of dogs, little funding, and limited space. Once the dogs arrive at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these adoptable dogs and adopt them out to loving families. Although our priorities are the retriever breeds, we are not limiting ourselves to retrievers because we know that there are many great dogs that need our help. We are NOT professional trainers or animal behaviorists; simply volunteers who are trying to save these dogs from euthanasia.
We have many wonderful dogs and cats looking for FORever Homes!
Our adoption fee covers their complete age-appropriate vetting, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/flea prevention, and full medical records.
Please email us at info@FORrescue.net for an application to begin the adoption process.
