Lacey's Story...
Lacey deserves a safe and loving home. If you think you have the right home for her, please contact Pat, Lacey's foster mom, at 913-782-5539 or e-mail her at pjshelor@hotmail.com. She will be happy to answer any questions you have about Lacey.

Hi, my name is Lacey and I’m a 5 yr old Lhasa Apso mix who weighs about 11 pounds. I’m a curious little girl who stands about 9 inches high. I’m as cute as a bug but I am very shy and scared. I will need lots of patience and love to reach my full potential.

I’m in foster care right now, but I came from a shelter and I have spent a lot of my life in “not the best of conditions”. My foster Mom is pleased to see me slowly coming out of my shell. My foster home is showing me all the ropes of how it feels to have lots of love and freedom, and I love it! I love to play with toys. I will play all by myself, but I am always excited to play with another dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacey, a Overland Park Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
