Hi! My name is Amber. I was named after my beautiful eyes. I am a 7 year old, female, long haired kitty. The Pet Rescue Center saved me from euthanasia on February 1st. I was so sweet and affectionate they could not leave me there. Although I am 7, I have a ton of good years left. I LOVE people so much and really want a new family to love me back. I am good around other pets, but can be very demanding for affection. I am well rounded and would do well in many different types of homes. I also like car rides! Please come meet with me!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email Casey Oliver at adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adoptapet.html. Completed applications can be faxed to 949-768-5759 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
