Sandia's Info...
| Breed: | Chihuahua Mix | Color: | Tan/Yellow/Fawn - With White | Age: | Adult |
| Size: | Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less | Sex: | Female |
Sandia is a 4 year old spayed female Chihuahua who is seeking a quiet loving home. She has not been socialized much and is very timid around new people, although she does warm up. She is overweight and will need help with getting her to a healthy weight. Sandia has unusual coloring for a Chihuahua and is very pretty. She appears to be house trained although we cannot say for sure. She seems to get along with smaller dogs, but her behavior with larger dogs and cats is unknown. Her behavior with children is also unknown, however older children who will respect her small size would probably be okay. She is quiet, not yappy and would make a great lap dog. Sandia is micro-chipped so you will be able to register your contact information.
If you want to apply for Sandia click here. You can then email the application to the Meridian Humane Society.Applications are now being accepted, and a visitation with the dog is encouraged. All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.
