Rosie's Info...

I am already spayed.

Rosie's Story...
Rosie is an 8½ year old Silkie/Yorkie who weighs only about 10 lbs. She has been spayed, current on all vaccinations, heartworm tested negative. She has been kept on heartworm preventative and flea & tick control as well.

Rosie has to be in a home where someone is home most of the time. Due to excessive barking when left alone, an apartment setting is probably not a good choice for Rosie. She does not like to be crated and will bark. She is a Silkie/Yorkie so housetraining is always a work in progress. Due to her age, Rosie would not do well with small children.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Silky Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Silky Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
