DOB January 30, 2011. Amber is a quiet girl who loves to spend her time playing with feathered friends and cuddling up to her foster parents. Amber was rescued with her kittens (Groucho, Daisy, Puzz and Toupee) from a lift outside. She was very happy to come inside to raise her kittens. Amber's had a rough start to her life so it may take time to build up some trust, but once you do you'll have an adoring cat at your side for life. Amber loves to initiate play by herself but doesn't mind at all if you want to join in! She is possibly one of the most adorable cats her foster parents have ever had the pleasure of spending time with and her little vocalizations will have you reaching to scratch her head just the way she likes it.

Rescue Group Info...
Toronto Cat Rescue is a no-kill, non-profit, 100% volunteer group. TCR helps find homes for homeless, abandoned, sick or injured cats, as well as helps cats escape situations of abuse, neglect, or imminent euthanasia. TCR relies on volunteers to foster cats in their homes until a cat lover comes along to adopt them, so we know the cats personalities in a home setting! TCR saves cats from Toronto, GTA & Kitchener area.
***All cats over 8 months of age have reduced adoption fee of $100 in June!!
Decided on the kitty you would like to adopt? Please call the TCR Hotline - 416-538-8592 (press 1 for adoptions and leave a message) or email: tcr.adoptions@gmail.com for a pre-adoption interview.
An adoption coordinator will return your call and give you more details about the cat you are interested in and ask some questions about your home to make sure the cat will be a "purr-fect" fit. We are happy to answer any questions you may have as well.
Next you will be supplied with the foster home address to have a meet and greet with your kitty. If both parties are happy, you can sign the TCR Contract of Adoption, pay the adoption fee and take your kitty home with you (in a safe carrying case).
Adoption fee is $175 per cat. This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. It also includes 6 weeks of free pet insurance. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!
