Abby's Story...
Abby is a one and one half year old rat terrier mix who LOVES long walks, cuddle time, chasing toys, and will always be happy to see you. She bonds easily and will make a wonderful indoor companion animal for some lucky family. She gets along very well with her foster siblings and loves to play tug of war with them, even though they are at least five times her size. She has been a joy to work with and we love her, but nothing will make us happier than to see her find her forever family. Please call us at 931-363-5455 if you would like to meet Abby.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby, a Pulaski Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Pulaski, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Pulaski.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pulaski already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pulaski breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pulaski paves the way for another one to be saved.
