Magla's Story...
Magla-Blue Heeler/Border Collie f. puppy , Jan. 2013

Magla and her sisters were left in a high kill rural shelter at about 6-8 weeks of age. The tiny
babies didn't know what had happened to bring them to this at such a tender age. They went
into a foster home where they've grown a bit and are ready now to find their forever homes.
The adoption fee for Magla is $275 to help with the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Magla, a Germantown Blue Heeler puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Blue Heeler puppy from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler breeders who help with Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
