Lucy's Story...
Lucy and her brother were found at a deer camp and thankfully brought to our shelter. She is about 9 months old as of Feb 13, 2013 and she gets along well with other dogs but not cats. Lucy is a little shy at first because she probably didn't spend a lot of time with people when she was a small puppy. She was born missing her back paw but that doesn't stop her from any activity. Lucy lives in Madison, Mississippi, but transport can easily be arranged through Animal Rescue Front. If you are interested in taking Lucy into your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here: http://www.animalrescuefront.org/Adoption-Form.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Groton Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Groton, or seeking a Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
