Lola is an inspiration to us all. She endured most of her three years of life at the end of a chain connected to a falling-down shed that offered her little protection from the elements. She got very little attention and probably had several litters of puppies. Her sweet, gentle spirit endured three years of severe neglect with little food or water. Her new litter of babies came into this world on New Year's Day. All she could offer them was the dirt floor of the shed and a few pieces of an old chair cushion for protection against the severe cold temperatures. Thankfully, all were rescued before she and her babies perished. Lola overflows with an "attitude of gratitude" and wags her tail of thanks non-stop. She has the best of manners. She doesn't jump, bark or chew things she's not supposed to. (She loves toys and chew bones!) She LOVES people and great with children. She should get the "Mother of the Year" award for the way she's sacrificed to take care of her babies. Now, it is time for Lola to have the life this wonderful dog deserves! She has a German Shepherd look about her but "talks" to you like a Siberian Husky would. She's not too big, weighing about 50 pounds. She will be spayed soon, has had her vaccinations and will demand very little in exchange for the gift of a loving home. Lola has alot of love to give and will make an absolutely wonderful pet for a special family or individual.
Rescue Group Info...
Faithful Friends Animal Advocates, Inc is a non-profit organization commited to helping our community become a place where animals are treated with kindness and respect. Further, we want to be a voice for the welfare of animals in our community through various avenues. Our goal is to build an adoption center for the Neosho, MO community in order to benefit the abused, abandoned and neglected domestic animals in our community.
People
The organization is comprised of volunteers who meet nearly weekly to organize events in order that we may serve the community successfully. There are many different opportunities to volunteer and donate time or financial gifts. If you are at all interested or know someone who would like to support our efforts, please contact us.
We typically host adoption events on the first Saturday of every month. All other opportunities to meet our pets are done by appointment only.
If you are interested in one of our adoptable pets; first you must fill out an adoption application. Upon review, FFAA members will screen your application, a meet and greet for you and the pet will be set up. If there are no reservations on either party, the adoption contract will need to be filled out and signed. There is an adoption fee for all animals to help cover veterinary care prior to placement.
We are out of Neosho, MO in southwest Missouri. We strive to help those in need in Newton and McDonald Counties. We do not currently have a facility for holding animals, so we rely on volunteer foster homes.
