Ruby Doo, 2 years old, 35 lbs, heart worm negative, Ruby was released to the shelter by her former owner because she is now homeless and unable to care for Ruby, she is reported to be good with children, other dogs, and cats, leash trained, house trained, and knows the commands sit and down; Ruby is a tad scared in the noisy shelter environment but she enjoys being with her kennel mate--Donna, Ruby is a happy and friendly girl, a real sweetheart, people oriented, playful, responsive, loves to run and play, outgoing, okay being handled as we pulled on her tail, toes and ears, loves attention, will play with toys somewhat but doesn't really need them to have a good time, gentle girl, wonderful disposition, is cuter in person than her pictures so we invite you to come see Ruby in person at our shelter, she will make an awesome family dog
Shelter Info...
We are a hard working County facility that has seen a lot of success over the last few years thanks to a wonderful community and some very special animals that visit us.
Adoption hours are 10:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-4:30pm Monday-Saturday.
An adoption application musty be completed and reviewed prior to adoption. Dogs cost between $35.00-$125.00 to adopt depending on licensing area, altered status, etc.
We encourage all adopters adding to their four legged family to bring their dogs with them in order to meet and greet possible new family members.
We serve all unincorporated areas within Tehama County and contract with the City of Red Bluff. Our animals are adopted to anyone who is willing to give these wonderful four legged familiy members the second chance they all deserve.
