Abby, approximately 1 year old, 43 lbs, heart worm negative, happy and friendly, very sweet girl, loving, people oriented, loves attention, affectionate, okay being handled as we pulled on her toes and ears but she does not like being touched or grabbed by her stubby tail, happy to meet people, not interested in toys at this time, a tad scared in the noisy shelter environment but still friendly, responsive, knows the command sit but may be stubborn at times showing you that she knows it, gets along with her kennel mate--Roxy but does need a proper meet and greet with other dogs, this beautiful girl will be a wonderful companion and friend for years to come

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby-$45 Adoption Fee, a Red Bluff Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Red Bluff, or seeking a Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Red Bluff.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Red Bluff already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Red Bluff breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Red Bluff paves the way for another one to be saved.
