Handsome Houdini will steal your heart!
Houdini is a 6 year old French Bull dog, he is a black brindle. He is current on shots, neutered, microchipped and heart worm negative. He is typical of the breed and is a little clown. He loves to be rubbed on and is happiest laying across my legs while watching T. V. He is an excellant guard dog, and always alerts us to any visitors. He knows basic commands and does well on a leash with a halter. He loves to sleep the day away but does snore. His negatives attributes is that he is finicky around other dogs and some he just can't be around. He also can be a little territorial with other dogs around his owner, and food. He does better with smaller dogs than larger dogs.
Houdini will do best in a home without other dogs.
Rescue Group Info...
Saving The Animals Together (S.T.A.T.) is a group of animal lovers dedicated to networking and rescuing dogs and cats from our local high kill shelter, as well as animals that are in danger of being sent to a high kill facility. All of our dogs and cats are rescued in Tennessee. We invite you to help us save the lives of these pets on death row.
We are a foster based rescue and as such, we have no public facilities. Our fosters are all in Tennessee, therefore meeting your pet before adoption is not possible. However, we will provide accurate information about each animal. Because they are fostered in homes, we are able to assess their temperament. The fosters work on behavior, house training, socialization and provide the best individualized care.
Our adoption fee of $350 includes vetting, including spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, heartworm/lyme/ehrlichiosis test for all dogs (and treatment for any positive results),a microchip, and transport costs. (Adopter is responsible to register the chip and pay any registration fees). All of our adoptable pets are current on heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative. You will find our preliminary application on our website http://www.savingtheanimalstogether.org/#!adoptable-dogs-and-cats/c1yi2 Upon receiving your application a volunteer will contact you for a telephone interview and then our local volunteer will set up a home visit.
