I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.
Hello there, my name is Pomegranate! I came to the shelter as a stray cat that likely had been dumped by my former owners. because I had to fend for myself outside for quite some time in a rural area, I had developed some suspicion about humans. I have lived with Scarecrow and Sekhmet ni the Director's office for the last 6 weeks and I am really fond of certain people that come into the office. When I like someone, I will come out and seek petting from them, and although I do scare easily (and run away if I am scared), I recover quickly and try again. I will never be a cat that you can pick up and carry around, but I am a social cat in that I like to be in the same room as people. With time, love and patience, I will be a low-maintenance companion for you. I would LOVE to have a feline companion of either gender who is friendly, likes to play and can be a good role model for my continuing sociaization. if you visit with me and I come out of hiding for you, please consider adopting me! Although I will likely need a safe room and may hide for a few weeks, I will do my best to adjust and show you that I am a great pet!
