Babs's Info...
| Breed: | American Staffordshire Terrier | Color: | Unknown | Age: | Young |
| Size: | Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg) | Sex: | Female | ID#: | 5409407 |
I am already spayed, purebred, and up to date with shots.
Babs is a super mellow dog! She loves her excersize but LOVES to lounge around even more. She loves to roll on her back for belly rubs. Babs is incredible with people of all shapes and sizes but she prefers to be an only dog. She has such fear and aggression around some dogs. We think she was used as a bait dog. At her spay appointment the vet said she's already had around 3 litters of pups. As her current foster I strongly believe that she can be rehabilitated. She just needs time with a professional to overcome her fear of dogs on her own time. We have had the privilege of seeing Babs for who she really is. And she is truly special. Lets find Babs a forever home!
2 years old.

Rescue Group Info...
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from various Los Angeles shelters the day they are to be euthanized. Our goal is to help provide animals with a second chance to a happy life and to help reduce pet overpopulation through spay and neuter programs. Once rescued, we place our dogs into loving foster homes while they await adoption. We do not keep dogs in kennels. Placing the dogs in foster homes is the first step to rehabilitation, as it allows us to thoroughly evaluate a dog's demeanor and needs enabling us to make the perfect match of dog and permanent owner. We attribute our high rate of successful placement to our foster program. At Ace of Hearts, we do not discriminate against any breed, including those in the bully breed family. Additionally, Ace of Hearts is dedicated to educating the public on how to be responsible pet owners and on the importance of spaying and neutering. We believe the real solution to pet overpopulation is through spaying and neutering pets.
