Lily's Story...
Update...This girl is so sweet and does so well she is being fostered in a house with other dogs and doesn't have a fenced in yard. Listens well and loves to take walks. Great with kids and other dogs. This great girl has a sad story. SHe has had 3 litters, finally trusted humans enough to be handled and vetted. She is very sweet, great with all dogs, all sizes. Very submissive to all humans. She is completely house trained will lay on her blanket and not touch a thing. doesn't need a leash or fenced in yard. If she knows it's her house, she will stay right with you. Really needs a chance at a real home and happiness. She is pictured here with Malcome and serving as his foster Mom.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Fort Valley American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Fort Valley, or seeking a American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Fort Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
