Wilson's Story...
Meet Wilson he is only about 7 pounds but thinks he weighs 107. We believe that he is a Rat terrier and chihuahua mix. He is about 5-7 years old we think. He would be a great lap dog for anyone looking for a sweet little dog who doesn't much care about fetching a ball. He is happiest when he has your full attention and a lap to prop up on. He is fully vetted, neutered, on monthly heart worm prevention and ready to go. He gets along well with most other dogs, there is a group of about 9 little dogs who get to go out and play together during the day. Wilson doesn't mind being outside with the group, but is always looking for an open door to get back inside for his treat and a belly rub. He is fully crate trained, never has an accident overnight. If you are looking for a sweet little dog who wants to be the center of your world Wilson may be the dog for you. You can contact us at woofwoof324@gmail.com or call to make an appointment to meet him 931-698-0303. An adoption fee of $150 is required which goes toward saving another at risk dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wilson, a Columbia Rat Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
