Slinky's Story...
Slinky is the cutest dog ever!! She is about 4 years old and full of life. She loves to play and rough house with the other little dogs here, there are about 9 that go out and play together during the day, and she is at it full throttle. She is a real love too, always ready to give you a kiss. She is a mix of dachshund and maybe pug, long and low like a dachshund, but her nose is too short to be full bred. She loves her cookie treats, and is a voracious eater-typical of the dachshund breed. She is spayed, fully vetted, HW negative and microchipped-ready for a great family to call her own. She is great with kids too, would be great for a young family. And she is fully crate trained, never has an accident overnight. If you would like to meet her call us for an appointment 931-698-0303 or 931-698-8300, an adoption application can be found on our webpage www.animalattractiontn.com under the contact us tab. Her adoption fee is $150 which goes toward saving another dog in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Slinky, a Columbia Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
