Fergus's Story...
Fergus is about 6 years old and weighs under 9 lbs. He is a special little guy, very playful. He loves to run and play with a squeeky toy. Gets along good with other dogs and is all in all a great big lover. He will curl up and snuggle for as long as possible. He is crate trained and neutered as well as up to date on vaccinations.

He is being treated for HW, but will be ready for adoption when treatment is complete.

If you can help us with HW treatment for Fergus, it would be so appreciated!

(Help can either be as a foster or to help sponsor his treatment cost.)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fergus, a Columbia Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
