Tiger's Story...
Tiger came to us with a bad injury to his back. He was living on a farm, scrounging for food & shelter. He lived outdoors which is not good for a long haired cat. We think he got a matt in his fur caught on something that literally ripped his fur & skin off his back. The photo attached is after surgery & 3 weeks of treatment. He has blossomed into a healthy, loving, happy & playful kitty. He was raised with children, dogs & other cats. He does better with female rather than male cats. He loves to play so he needs a playful companion. To meet him, please call: 502-599-9395

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health & welfare of companion animals. We are a NO KILL rescue group. Spay/Neuter, public education regarding animal health care & reducing pet overpopulation with resultant euthanizias are our top priorities. We are a soley volunteer operation and rely on our adoption fees and public donations to care for our animals until they find permanent homes. We do not have a shelter for the cats, but rely on "foster" homes for their care & socialization until they are adopted. WE ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING HOMES FOR FOSTERING BABY KITTENS AND ADULTS.

Our Adoption Process...
Our organization is an all volunteer, NO KILL, Non-profit rescue group. We have no salaried employees. Our expenses are covered by donations or by our volunteers. We use high quality food & litter. We have an adoption form to complete that helps us match you with the puuurrfect pet. We also ask for personal references to help the adoption committee select the best home for each cat or kitten. Our cats and kittens are tested for feline leukemia and AIDS before entering the adoption process. Our felines are vaccinated for: Rabies, Distemper, are micro-chipped, wormed, flea treated & litter box trained. They are also very socialized since they live "underfoot" in foster homes.
