Silver's Story...
DOB July 2, 2012

Silver and Onyx are siblings. Silver is a beautiful grey and white kitten who has made her home in a little bed where she feels safe and can cuddle with Onyx. She starts to purr and gives little nibbles on your hand when you pet her, but seems to be unsure why she likes it. She is not ready to be picked up and cuddled. She needs cuddle company either from her sibling or from another kitten or cat. She needs to go to a home where someone takes time to encourage her to become more used to human company. It is a joy to watch a kitten like this gradually relax and to trust human company and learn to play.

About Our Rescue Group...
North Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered Canadian charrity made up of dedicated volunteers concerned with the welfare of all cats and kittens. We rescue, foster, provide veterinary care (including blood testing, vaccines and spay/neuter) and arrange adoptions for abandoned or rescue felines.

For ten years, North Toronto Cat Rescue has been helping hundreds of souls in need wherever we find them, offering love, nourishment, safety, medical care and the hope of a "forever" home.

We are not a spay/neuter and release group as we believe all these animals deserve comfot, warmth and love, particularly during the long cold winter days here in Canada. They will remain with us until they find a permanent home.

Come Meet Our Pets...
Currently, we have a private Shelter for our animals so it is by appointment only. However we also have a partnership with Pet Value in Aurora (Bayview and Aurora Road) where many cats and kittens are also housed.

We attend local Fairs, Events such as "All About Pets" Show in Toronto, for example, and other fund-raising events during the year in the Toronto area.

Our adooption contract is found on-line.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
