My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shelby is a beautiful 14 month old Chocolate Labrador Retriever ~ Bloodhound mix. She is up to date on heart-worm preventative, heart worm free, up to date on her shots, and already spayed. She is extra large and extra gorgeous. Her thick, brown coat feels like an oriental rug and is shiny like silk! She is just a great, big baby and LOVES kids! Her family had to give her up for financial reasons, and she does not understand what is going on. She was a house dog, but now she's suddenly outside in a kennel with a doghouse and cedar chips. She is depressed and confused, longing to feel safe again in the comfort of someone's warm home and loving arms. She is house-trained, has short, freshly-clipped nails, and darling feet. She is well mannered on a leash and knows "Sit" and "Down" perfectly. She does not want to be thrown out in someone's backyard, but longs to be a true companion, sleeping in at night and going for long walks and fun adventures with her person during the day! If she sounds like the dog for you, please call Lisa with C.A.R.E., Inc. 706-957-8316 Shelby is grieving and hopes to find her new home as soon as possible!
