Bocho's Story...
Bocho is a sweet gentle soul who has defects in his front legs. We think he is the result of irresponsible in-breeding. He is very mellow but has his active moments. He loves to sit up and stand on his back legs. His favorite activity is to hang on the couch! Bocho is quite the character when new people come over, he lays out the charm with his cute sit up trick. His front legs are shorter than his back legs which gives him a "lowrider" appearance. Bocho loves other dogs, cats and especially children. He needs a special family that will love him and look past his deformity and help him feel comfortable.

About Our Rescue Group...
San Antonio ROCKS is a non-profit organization that was created to bring awareness to our cities homeless animal situation. Our organization is run by a group of committed volunteers who are dedicated to helping San Antonio become a no-kill city.
More than a rescue, SAROCKS is focused on bringing awareness and alternatives to kill shelters by implementing community programs that educate the public about our homless stray population.
Founded in late 2012, a collective group of individuals came together after spending countless days and sleepless nights pleading for the city's homeless pets, only to find that most of the efforts were in vain. Many animals remain homeless in our city and continue to be euthanized daily because there is no place for them to go. Our organization not only focuses on our current pet crisis by offering foster and adoption programs, but also focuses on the education of our young generation, so that they will be able to continue our efforts into making our city a no-kill city.

Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption fee is $85 minimum donation. This fee includes spay/neuter surgery, microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm test, rabies tag & 1st month's flea/tick & heartworm preventative. An adoption application must be filled out through our website. We do require veterinary and personal references along with home checks. Our adoption manager will contact you after the application has been submitted, usually within 24-48 hours. Please be patient!

We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
