Lion in MD's Story...
Lion is an adorable 3 year old tan and white Cocker Spaniel/Welsh Terrier mix boy who recently came to us from a kill shelter in KY. How he got there we don’t know, but through the efforts of Heart 2 Heart Rescue, he is now part of the CSAC family. What we wish for this boy is to be a part of your family, forever!

Lion seems to crave love, and just adores having someone pay attention to him. He gets along with other dogs, and while he is a little standoffish at first, he quickly warms up to people, so he won’t miss any petting available. He has a very distinct face, a long, thin body and a full tail. We feel that Lion would do best in a home without kids.

Lion is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations. Everyone involve in the transport from Indiana to Maryland remarked on how friendly, loving and calm he is. This boy is obviously a keeper! Do you have it in your heart to make Lion a cherished part of your family? If so, please complete an Adoption Application for him as soon as possible.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lion in MD, a Westminster Cocker Spaniel/Welsh Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Welsh Terrier for sale in Westminster, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Welsh Terrier dog from a breeder in Westminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Welsh Terrier breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Welsh Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
