Andie's Story...

Another lovable FAIR pooch!

Andie was lost or abandoned when she was very young, and lived in an industrial park for nearly 6 months. As a result, she is very hand-shy. However, she is extremely social, gets along well with cats and other dogs, and is crate trained and house trained. With patience, we believe she will eventually learn to trust people more and let you pet her.

Andie's adoption fee is $200. The fees for all FAIR dogs include sterilization, microchip, applicable licenses, vaccines, a vet visit, and one month of Shelter Care vet insurance.

I am available for adoption at one of our adoption centers. To receive more information about me, please send an e-mail message to us at inquiries@FairCares.org. Please include my name and FAIR ID #, along with your own name and telephone number. We will get back to you as soon as possible.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Andie, a Tucson Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Tucson, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Tucson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tucson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tucson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tucson paves the way for another one to be saved.
