Sissy's Story...
Sissy is 5 mo old and weighs approx 22-25 lbs (2/16/13) She is not expected to get much bigger. She has a sweet temperament. Shy until she gets to know you. Comes when called. Submissive. Good w/other dogs. Playful. She is being rehomed because the family pet had a litter of puppies 5 mo ago and the owner was unable to find homes for all the puppies. The owner works long hours and has very limited time for the pups. All pets come w/up to date vaccines, deworming, microchip, and health certificate from veterinarian within 48-72 hrs of transport. Adults are also sterilized and heartworm tested prior to placement. For more information/application visit our website at www.saveamuttkennel.info . TRANSPORTATION TO THE NORTHEAST IS AVAILABLE.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sissy, a Sussex Golden Retriever/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Corgi for sale in Sussex, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Corgi dog from a breeder in Sussex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sussex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sussex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Corgi breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sussex paves the way for another one to be saved.
