My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi World,
My name is Ricky and I am a very happy, healthy and just about perfect eight year old bichon. My mom says I'm an awesome iittle guy who loves to play ball, catch and tug-of - war - that rope never had a chance! And while I'm great at that I am also a master when it comes to squeeky toys! She says she is constantly amazed my energy .. in fact I can romp and play and go for walks - then turn around and do it all over again! Why I can do that and even have energy left over to play with kitties. They love me and I love them!

Mom says that, without a doubt, I am a very loving kind of guy, I make friends very easily and get along well with almost everyone. I do well with children that don't pull my ears or tail, am an excellent watch dog, enjoy riding in the car and know how to sit and behave myself in the back seat. Mom also says that I like snuggling in bed (I have my own pillow) and that I am housebroken and know how to use a doggy door. Mom says I would never chew on anything that I'm not supposed to - but I do like to nibble on my blanket 'cause it is so soft and comfy. On the other hand I AM a bichon - so sometimes when we talk I like to get the last word in (but Mom smiles when she
says that.)

Unhappily for me, Mom is very sick and she has to move to another state. Her life is going to be very unsettled there for quite a while and Mom knows that will be hard on me. As much as she hates it, Mom believes that I would be happier in a home where I can be safe and secure and loved, like I am now. She says I'll understand some day that she gave me a chance to find my Forever Home, even when it made her feel sad to give me up.

So if you are looking for the perfect buddy who has a lot of love to give, please complete an application at www.bichonfurkids.com/application.htm - and ask for me... I'm Ricky the Remarkable - and I'm waiting to meet you.
