I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.
Sweet Carly was found wandering the streets of Detroit. A good Samaritan brought her to the safety that is Home FurEver Rescue. When she was taken to be spayed, it was discovered she was pregnant! The spay surgery was postponed, and Carly went back to her foster home where she delivered a healthy litter of ten puppies.
Every Saturday, Carly has waited for someone to fall in love with her. Every Saturday, Carly has watched as her pups have been adopted, one by one, until they all found their forever homes. Patiently waiting, she is glad all of her pups are safe; but she doesn’t understand why people pass her by, week after week. She waits patiently for that special someone to open their heart and home for her.
Carly has a contagious smile that can light up a room, and the cutest little ears you’ve ever seen. She’s a girl that wears her heart on her sleeve – she can’t contain her excitement when her people approach. Her eyes light up and her tail begins to wag; slowly at first, increasing tempo as you come closer. That smile creeps across her face and she is only too happy to jump into your lap and give kisses, before rolling over and expecting some belly rubs. She is a very affectionate girl, but she has a pleasantly silly side as well.
She is two years old, but still an energetic little thing. Carly loves hiking in the woods with her foster dad (she even has her own backpack!) and exploring new territory. She would make a great running companion, a perfect complement to anyone’s active lifestyle.
Carly has several furry siblings at her foster home, but her prey drive may be too high for cats. She loves to run and play with the other dogs, but also gets her energy out running laps in the yard all by herself. Please consider bringing this sweet girl into your home.
