ZEPPELIN's Story...
Zeppelin (fka Charlie) is a 9-10 month old male pittie mix that is came to LCPO 2.13.2013 from the Manhattan ACC. Zeppelin was found as a stray but he is in the condition of a dog that has been cared for aside from his fear of most anything! This cutie is going to be working towards building confidence and getting his C.L.A.S.S. training certification while in his foster home! Zeppelin needs some work on his manners and especially his confidence which we know from the shelter's evaluation as well as his time in foster already. Zeppelin did well on his dog meeting in the shelter and with dogs he has met since coming to LCPO and will be cat tested while in his foster home as well. Check here for upates on this sweet, young boy. You can email for more info! Adoption application, reference check, home visit and adoption fee required. You can donate towards the care of Zeppelin or any avail-a-bully at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ZEPPELIN, a Hillsborough Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Hillsborough, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Hillsborough.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillsborough already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillsborough breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillsborough paves the way for another one to be saved.
