I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Diesel's Story...
Diesel is a wonderful dog and a shelter favorite. He came in as a very underweight stray and at his last weight check he was 47 pounds. He could still use a few pounds. He is a very sweet and affectionate dog that still thinks he a puppy (the youngest we think he is would be about 6 years old). He isn't phased by cats, if anything he is a little timid around them. He seems to like all dogs and he adores people. He loves to go on walks and adventures, and even jump into the back of SUVs, ready to go wherever!

Act quickly to adopt Diesel. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diesel, a Union German Shepherd Dog/Shiba Inu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Shiba Inu for sale in Union, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Shiba Inu dog from a breeder in Union.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Union already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Union breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Shiba Inu breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Shiba Inu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Union paves the way for another one to be saved.
