Shrek's Story...
Hi my name is Shrek, I am around 18 months old as of Feb 2013.
I am such a good boy... this is my story.... my owner passed away and DRWB rescued me. I was so lonely and sad, my owner loved me very much, I slept with him and lived indoors. He trained me to go potty outside. I missed him so much.
But DRWB found a super loving foster, I live with her indoors and sleep in a very cozy bed. I have adapted very well. My foster has dogs of her own and other rescues, I get along and socialize with them very well.
I will be ready for adoption in a couple of weeks, you see, my previous owner had not neutered me, DRWB took care of it already!
DRWB says I deserve a family who will have the time and love to share with me. I agree! :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shrek, a San Diego Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
