Jade's Story...
If you're interested in Jade, email ROCKCITYRESCUE@GMAIL.COM

Jade is an approximately 7-8 month old Lab/Plott hound mix. She's a very sweet girl with a medium energy level. One walk a day and Jade is good to go! She gets along great with kids and probably wouldn't mind having one or two of those around too, if possible. Or she could be a spoiled only dog, which she wouldn't mind either! :)

Jade is currently working on receiving her Canine Good Citizenship!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jade, a Glastonbury Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound puppy from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
