My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Ellie Paige
Age: 2 years
Sex: Female
Weight: 15 pounds
Breed: Terrier Mix
Great with other dogs, loves to play! Good with cats too.
A few words from her foster parents: Ellie Paige is just a doll. She is super energetic and loves to play. She bounces from one dog to the next to get someone to play with her. Then when she runs out of dogs she tries to play with the cats. We haven't seen where her legs have restricted her in any way. She is great in the car!
House trained: Almost!
Crate trained: Yes
Special Needs of any kind: As you can see, Ellie has a deformity in her back legs, however, the vet says that she is not in pain. She keeps up with the best of them!
Health: In good health
Activity Level: High

LGR is a foster based rescue, which means that our adoptable dogs live in foster homes. Because they live with us, we know the habits, needs, temperament, and level of training of our dogs. To adopt an LGR dog, we ask that you first submit an adoption application (link below). When we receive your application, we will review and respond via email within 7 days. Our adoption process does more than screen applicants; it allows us to work with adopters to properly match our dogs with their forever homes. Each LGR dog is spayed/neutered, vaccinated (rabies, bordatella, DHLPP), heartworm tested (age appropriate), microchipped, and treated with heartworm and flea preventative. To adopt an LGR dog, please submit an adoption application here: http://bit.ly/LGRAdoptionApp

. As a foster based rescue, we rely on the generosity of people like you to open your hearts & homes to a dog in need. To become an LGR foster, please submit a foster application here: http://bit.ly/LGRFosterApp
