DeeDee's Story...
DeeDee is a sweet 10 week old torbie kitten. She was rescued from a parking lot in Central Park in Fredericksburg. She is a sweet little kitten from a litter of three. Her two sisters were trapped and adopted out before Shadow Cat volunteers were able to trap her. Now DeeDee is looking for her very own forever home! Are you the home for her?

DeeDee has tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, has been dewormed, and is up to date with all her shots. DeeDee requires a home where she will never be declawed, or allowed to go outside.

Shadow Cat Advocates exists to provide assistance to all the abandoned and forgotten cats and kittens that live all around us. We are a 501c3 non-profit and all donations to our organization are deductible to the extent allowed by IRS laws. We have no office expenses, no salaries, and our volunteers all work for FREE and pay their own expenses. Without volunteers, our mission would be meaningless. We are looking for additional volunteers. Are you willing to foster a cat for a short period, become a caretaker, help trap, or assist in one of our fundraising event? Our Adoption Process...
Adoption fees vary based on the veterinary care the cat has received prior to adoption. We will do a vet check to make sure the pet(s) you have currently or previously in your home have received adequate and yearly veterinary visits. A lifetime care contract and home visit are part of the adoption process.
