My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Samoyed. 5.5 years old. Samoyed. Medium activity level. Nookie came to DSR from South Dakota. He was severely matted and required shaving. Nookie has been in foster care but was to playful for his senior (13 years old) companion. He has lots of energy and loves to play and be loved. He had a full blood panel and everything was great. An x-ray showed he suffers from a partial luxation in his left front elbow that is being treated with Rimadyl. He will have a gimpy gait for life, but it does not slow him down. He will do best in a home that can provide controlled exercise and play time. He loves other dogs and people and has shown a mild interest in playing with cats. He has tons of personality that will provide you hours of entertainment.
