Sebastian's Story...
OK, folks, you need to adopt me! Let me tell you why! I'm one of a kind because first of all, I will make you laugh, just looking at me. Purrsonally, I don't see the funny part, but the people here do. I have what they call "Einstein Fringe". If you look closely at my pictures, you will see the white tufts of fur by my ears, highly resembling Albert Einstein. They say it's very "cool and unusual." I have an unusual blend of gold eyes with green in the center. Sometimes they look gold and sometimes green. I'm a youngster, just about 3 and I'm already neutered. The Volunteers like me and say I'm sweet and friendly and a good lookin' hunk of a cat! So, come on by and ask to visit with me in the Cat Room. I'm in cage #125.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sebastian, a El Cajon Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
