Slate "The Kneader"'s Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Slate "The Kneader"'s Story...
Slate is an adorable young cat with a lot of spunk. He still has his kitten playfulness, but mostly just wants to lounge on your lap and snuggle. He especially loves to "knead" or massage people. He also loves belly rubs! And he's great with kids as you can see from the picture. If you are looking for a snuggler, he is the one! Slate has scar tissue in both of his eyes that may lessen over time. This doesn't seem to bother him and his vision is fine. Come and meet Slate and find out if he is the cat you're looking for...little boy in picture not included.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Slate "The Kneader", a Oyster Bay Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Oyster Bay, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Oyster Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oyster Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oyster Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oyster Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
