Lovey's Story...
You can visit with Lovey at the Petsmart in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. Hi, my name is Lovey and I am a gray/white tabby and I'm looking for my Forever Home.

Lovey was abandoned at the rescue with a note on her carrier saying the owners had lost their home and could no longer keep her. OMG! what a sweet and loving cat she is. The note did not tell us her name. Lovey has the sweetest and most affectionate personality which is why we gave her this name. She craves love and attention. When you open her kennel she will "walk" up your chest and wrap her arms around your neck. She loves to be held in this manner. On many occasions one of the volunteers has swept the floor, worked on paperwork and other activities all while holding Lovey in this way. You will love her cute face and wonderful personality. Lovey will make a wonderful addition to your home and your life. Please give her a chance to win you over! We will be posting better photos of Lovey soon. She was just waking from a snooze when this photo was taken.

We hold adoptions every Sat & Sun from 12-3:00pm at the Rancho Santa Margarita Petsmart, as well as, at the Foothill Ranch & Lake Forest Petsmart stores. For an appt. to meet Lovey please call 949-829-0036.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lovey, a Foothill Ranch Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Foothill Ranch, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Foothill Ranch.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foothill Ranch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foothill Ranch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foothill Ranch paves the way for another one to be saved.
