Coco - Adopted!'s Story...
URGENT!!!

Coco is a happy and healthy, 4-year old, female Akita/Shepherd Mix that is looking for her new home. Coco's owner recently passed away and her friends have been helping with finding homes for Coco and her other pets.

Coco is house trained, loves to go for walks and rides in the car. She's a very happy, people-friendly dog. She supposedly likes to wander off on her own and come back home, so a home with secure fencing would be needed.

She previously shared her home with 18 cats, but would be best as the only dog in her new home. She is fine when walking on leash around other dogs, but does not like to live with other dogs.

Coco is currently being cared for at the Peninsula Humane Society in Burlingame, CA for this week only until 2/22/13.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coco - Adopted!, a Hayward Akita/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Akita/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Hayward, or seeking a Akita/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Hayward.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hayward already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hayward breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Akita/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Akita/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hayward paves the way for another one to be saved.
