KARI's Story...
My name is KARI (but Sue calls me MISSY) and I’m a 7 year old spayed female Jack Russell Terrier with a tan and white smooth coat and long legs. I’m rather mellow and very friendly to everyone. I’m microchipped, all shots are current, and I have been heartworm tested negative. I’m very loving and very outgoing. I’m housetrained and crate trained, and love to ride in the car in my crate. I have had a dental cleaning and my teeth are in beautiful shape. I came from a Kansas puppy mill where I was used for breeding. As a result, I can’t believe that I am now living in the outside world where there is a surprise around every corner. In fact, I can’t believe that I am allowed to be outside rolling in the grass and playing. I’ve learn to come when called, and I get along well with male dogs. I don’t get along well with other female dogs, a trait which is very common in the Jack Russell Terrier breed. I’ve never been around a cat so we don’t know if I am cat compatible but since I love everyone, we think I would do well with cats! But I am very willing to learn my way around this big world where I now find myself. And to do that, I need an owner who is dog savvy and willing to work with me to make me into a wonderful pet dog that I deserve to be. My adoption fee is $300.
