Moon's Story...
FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID

Moon is a 2(ish) year old domestic medium hair neutered male. This boy has had a rough life the past few months. Moon was found by some nice people as a stray, when no owner came forward they decided to keep him because he was so unbelievable sweet; turns out their dog had other ideas. The household dog instead decided that Moon might make a nice snack and injured Moon pretty badly. Moon was taken to a vet, had his belly stitched up and then the owners contacted Fuzzy Pawz Rescue to see if we could help. We were able to place Moon in one of our foster homes and are we glad we did!

Moon is one loving boy; he LOVES to be loved on! This guy has to be the most affectionate cat on the planet. He'll just plop down in front of you and roll around a bit waiting for you to pet him. This is one big lap cat. He is good natured, easy going and very calm.

This stunningly beautiful black cat (with a tiny patch of white on his chest), has the deepest, darkest coat we have ever seen; and very, very long legs! He is quite the looker.

We have never had Moon around children but he is easy going and loving we think he would be great and would probably love the extra attention.

Moon is not currently living with another cat but with the proper introduction he probably would be fine with sharing his space. Moon has not had a chance to be around another dog since being attacked, but we would prefer that he either go to a home with no dogs or with a dog that will completely ignore a cat.

Moon is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

If you would like to add Moon to your home please fill out an adoption application at http://www.fuzzypawzrescue.com/adoptionapplication.htm

There is a $20 adoption for Moon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moon, a Boise Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Boise, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Boise.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boise already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boise breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boise paves the way for another one to be saved.
