Stella's Story...

Stella is a spayed female Beagle, DOB June, 2005.

SBF (single Beagle female) in search of a home with lots of cuddles/snuggles. I like long walks, and car rides (I sit very still in the car and just love the fact that you took me with you) with you as well as quiet evenings curled up in your lap or sitting by your side. I’m approx 7.5 years old – 22 lbs., but age is merely a number! I like to play, but would welcome the chance to be your cuddle buddy. I get along with my foster brother & sister but I’m not fond of cats and like to bark at them! I am house and crate trained and will respect your home. I would love to join you on the sofa and bed if I’m invited (I’m truly hoping you’ll invite me). I eat all my dinner and love the occasional treat (I have to watch my weight as my back leg hurts when I’m too heavy). I am very good with young children and don’t complain about anything (except kitties). I am UTD on my vaccinations and am current on my HW meds. A fenced yard required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stella, a Howell Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Howell, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Howell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Howell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Howell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Howell paves the way for another one to be saved.
