Millie's Story...

Little Miss Millie is a Chihuahua possibly mixed with Pug. At around 10 yrs young, Millie is a 9 lb sweetheart with a lot of love to give! If you look closely at her photo, you'll see that she has a white heart on her chest. This is fitting, because she is a sweet, loving girl who wants nothing more than to love and be loved by her person. Millie has a true Chihuahua personality: very loyal to her person, loves to be held, wants to be near her people always, a big dog personality in a tiny body. She is very affectionate and gentle, but she does prefer the company of women. Millie gets along with other dogs, but she wants to be the center of her person's universe, so we think she would be best as an only dog. We haven't seen her around children or cats, but because of her size she is unsuited for a home with young kids. Millie would be be happiest in a home where her person is home a lot and can give her lots of attention and cuddles. She is housebroken, healthy, spayed, and up-to-date on vaccinations.

PLEASE NOTE:   HHARG does not have a shelter or other physical location. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes.

If you are interested in a dog, please first review our adoption policies and procedures and fees, and then fill out our online adoption application.

Please do not email us to ask if a dog is available. If the dog is on our website, he or she is available. We are an all-volunteer group, and our time is limited. Answering emails about availability only slows down the process of processing applications.
