Martin's Story...
Martin is a 19#, 1 year old fluffy teddy bear of a pup (Sheltie/Spaniel mix?) who will make a great family dog. He has a happy, silly personality and is only moderate energy. He loves to have fun but also loves snuggling in a soft bed or just hanging out with you.

Martin is a very huggable kind of guy who also thinks tummy rubs are great. He is friendly to strangers, so affectionate and bonds easily.

He is well behaved when he goes to visit the vet.

He has the most charming crooked smile and he does like to wag his tail and smile a lot since he thinks life is wonderful! He really values his people but is not a demanding kind of guy. He keeps his kennel clean. Adoption donation $150.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Martin, a High Point Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Brittany dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Brittany for sale in High Point, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Brittany dog from a breeder in High Point.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in High Point already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a High Point breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Brittany breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Brittany rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in High Point paves the way for another one to be saved.
