I am housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.
Diamond is about 7-8 months old and is a russian-blue mix. She was found in someone's back yard and given to me by one of the women that volunteers at the store. She was eating on her own when I got her on 7/20/12, but does not trust humans much. She is the most skittish of my fosters and really needs an experienced cat-person who wants just one kitty. That would be best for Diamond because she'll bond much quicker with her adopter. She is nervous being approached to be picked up, but once she's in your arms she purrs.

CC4C, is a non-profit cat rescue organization founded in 1986 by citizens concerned with the growing numbers of abandoned and colonized cats.
CC4C is an all volunteer organization maintained on donations and fund-raising.
Our members, fosters and volunteers work hard to make a positive difference in the community and in lives of the cats.

You can view our cats at our adoption sites or schedule an appointment. Anyone interested in adopting a particular cat will complete an application. Potential adopters are interviewed by our foster caregivers and/or site coordinator and a recommendation is made for the adoption.
Adoption Fees:
Kittens (under a year old) $120.00, if you adopt a buddy, the adoption fee for the second kitty is $80.00.
Cats (over one year old) $100.00, if you adopt a buddy, the adoption fee for the second cat is $80.00.
The adoption fee includes at least the following; a health check, FeLV/FIV testing (FIV cannot be done until 4-months old), spay or neuter, FVRCP vaccine, de-worming, flea treatment, and micro chipping.
Through organization and the coming together of many caring individuals, CC4C was organized, incorporated and in business with members living in, and servicing Contra Costa County.
