Henry's Story...
HENRY is an 8 year old Lhasa Apso. He is quite the gentleman. Both crate and house trained, he is true to his breed. The Lhasa Apso breed originated in the Himalayan Mountains. It was bred as a household watchdog, guarding homes of Tibetan nobility and Buddhist monasteries. Henry is indeed a good watchdog and will be your little guardian. He will do best in a home without small children, and one that understands that his somewhat aloof behavior is just typical of the breed. He is about 22 lbs and will need regular professional grooming

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Henry, a Wichita Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Wichita, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Wichita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wichita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wichita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wichita paves the way for another one to be saved.
