If you need an official "greeter" in your home, Nero is ready for the job!! He's a happy, social butterfly with the most welcoming tail wag for everyone he meets. It's possible that he's so happy because he's so grateful: you see, Nero was found as a stray back in early-October completely emaciated and covered in fleas. Thank goodness a kind family took him in, fattened him up and has shown him months of TLC and excellent vet care, for which he has repaid them with unconditional love and lots of joy. Nero is a true gentleman: he walks well on the leash, takes treats very gently, and even waves his paw "Hello"! He loves going to the dog park so we know he's well-socialized with dogs, and his foster has cats which he easily accepts as part of his pack. We think Nero is about 8 years old, he weighs about 55 pounds, he is partially deaf which doesn't affect him at all, and he has successfully completed heartworm treatment.
