BEN's Story...
Hold on to your heart!! Meet adorable Ben, a 3 month old, neutered all black kitten. Cuddly, soft and very purrable, this little guy will steal your heart the minute you meet him. His foster mom says he is just a joy to be around. He learned to use a scratching post and tolerate nail trimmings in foster care. Now he is ready for his forever home. Please come meet him at Petsmart in Mantua.

About Our Shelter...
The Gloucester County Animal Shelter functions as an impoundment/adoption facility which temporarily houses lost,stray,unwanted or abandoned pets for 24 municipalities until such time as they are reclaimed by their owner,or adopted by a new owner.The Shelter also provides a 24-hour emergency service for calls regarding animals that are sick,injured or posing an immediate threat to the public.We also have an offsite adoption centers at the PetSmart stores located in Mantua & Turnersville which house over 20 cats for adoption.We have a very dedicated staff and volunteer core and work very hard to see that these homeless pets are given a second chance and placed in a proper homes.Once adopted they are delivered to one of our veterinarians to be spayed and neutered prior to going into their new home to insure that the animal cannot reproduce and at this time we are at 100% compliance.
