Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
Our mission is to rescue neglected and misunderstood dogs such as pit bulls and all other animals from shelters and from unsafe living conditions. We want to help other rescue groups and shelters with fostering and freeing up space in their facility. Our foster program works for the animals to be trained in any way needed for them to be comfortable in their new surroundings with people and possibly other animals. We understand that this takes time and patience.

Petopia Animal Rescue, Inc. will give their best care and efforts to help these animals in need. Our volunteers will be supervised and trained properly to care for these animals and run our program to maintain a comfortable and safe environment in any way for everyone and every animal in our care.

Our foster parents for the animals that are under our care will work along side with our dog trainers and experienced staff or volunteers. We will check the temporary living conditions initially and 2 times per week. This will help our mission be successful for our animals.

Courses such as CPR, Animal Behavior and other educational programs will be provided by us from qualified instructors to our volunteers.

Together we can save lives and help homeless animals live the way they deserve.

Thank you for helping the voiceless ones.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Leominster American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Leominster, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Leominster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Leominster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Leominster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Leominster paves the way for another one to be saved.
