Meg-Adopted!'s Story...
Meg is a true rags to riches story. She was found on a freezing cold winter evening, eating garbage out of a dumpster. She was terribly emaciated and covered in sores. Since that day, she has known nothing but love in her foster home, and is now a happy, healthy, loving girl.

Meg is very affectionate and loving towards people, always so gentle with children. She loves the other dogs in her foster home and is always happy to play. She knows her basic manners and is crate trained. Meg is a happy girl who is loving her second chance at life. Birth date 8/8/11

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Meg-Adopted!, a Detroit American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Detroit, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
